HAMPI TEMPLES(KRISHNA DEVARAYAR KINGDOMS)

VIJAYANAGAR DYNASTY TEMPLES.

The vijayanagar dynasty existed from 1336 AC to 1680 AC.

Sangama dynasty ruled from 1336 to 1486

Salva dynasty 1486 to 1503

Tulu dynasty 1503 to 1569

Aravidu dynasty 1572 to 1680 ruled this kingdom.

In this Krishna devaraya in tulu dynasty is remarkable king during his period the king dom flourished in central decan india, its capital was Hampi located in southern banks of Tungabatra river near present Hosepet .It is located around 130 Km from Guntakal (located in Chennai to Mumbai train route)and 67 from Bellary.From hyderbad, Bangalore, thirupati and Miraj trains facility available to Hosepet.Hampi is 12 km from hosepet.

One must spend full day to enjoy and peacefully see the all the ruined temples over here.

1.Virupaksha temple it has got 165 ft high tower at the entrance(it is called as Hampi main tower).

BADAMI AND ITS NEARBY TEMPLES.

It is the capital of early chalukya Dynasty in the period of 543 to 566 CE.It is located in Bagalkot dt. of northern Karnataka.From Bagalkot by road good connectivity is there.

Bhagalkot-Badami (36km), Badami-Bhansankari amman temple(05Km), Bhansankari temple - Pattadakal(20Km), Pattadakal-Aihole(12Km), Aihole-Amingad(9km), Amingad-Kudala Sangama(12km) wher you can see the Kudala sangameshwarar temple.Kudala sangama- Almatti(30Km), Almatti-Bijapur(60km).

From hosepet via Gadag train/bus facilty available to Badami(169 km). From hubli 108km to Badami

It has got North and south forts on hill top and many temples in these forts. These temples were made up of fusion of North and South Indian temples styles.

KAKINADA Temples

The temples in and around Vivekananda Parks mentioned.

1.Sri Ramalingaeshwara Samitha Sri Bala Tripura Sundari Ammavari.

This temple mainly utilized for marriage and various ritual function.Behind the main temple there were two Dias.

In one of the Dias Siva Parvathi Marriage describe statue accompanied by lakshmi ,saraswathi and Vishnu. The marriage conductor is Brahma (Marriage mantra’s spelled by Brahma as a Iyer).-Infront of this Dias Marriage conducted.

The Second Dias consist of Panduranga Swami shrine, Iyyaappa Shrine and Suriya narayana swamy.-In front of this Shrines marriage takes place

This Siva temple various from other Siva temple in its Garpagirha wall moorhty.i.e from clockwise left side of the Garpagirha wall the Iswar moorthys Siva, Verabhadra swamy, Kasi vishveshwarar, Sukasanan moorthi, Natrajar backside wall were there.The right side Gowri, lakshmi, Saraswati and Anapurna statue were there.

The temple inside Main Shrine is Lingam and its adjacent right side separate shrine for Tripura Sundari Ammavari is there.Garpagirha outside the left corner side Lord Ganesha and Right side Lord karthigeyan separate shrines were there.
