BADAMI AND ITS NEARBY TEMPLES.
It is the capital of early chalukya Dynasty in the period of 543 to 566 CE.It is located in Bagalkot dt. of northern Karnataka.From Bagalkot by road good connectivity is there.
Bhagalkot-Badami (36km), Badami-Bhansankari amman temple(05Km), Bhansankari temple - Pattadakal(20Km), Pattadakal-Aihole(12Km), Aihole-Amingad(9km), Amingad-Kudala Sangama(12km) wher you can see the Kudala sangameshwarar temple.Kudala sangama- Almatti(30Km), Almatti-Bijapur(60km).
From hosepet via Gadag train/bus facilty available to Badami(169 km). From hubli 108km to Badami
It has got North and south forts on hill top and many temples in these forts. These temples were made up of fusion of North and South Indian temples styles.

In Southern hill there are 4 caves and fort made in hill top.
From Gadag to hosepet going road you can find lot of windmill in outer skirts of Gadag. In Gadag near new bus stand Buswana statue very big in size you can find approx  60 ft. high.
