It is lord krishna temple.The word parthasarathy means charioteer, the famous character in Mahabharata.It has got nice pond opposite to this temple.Which accommodates lot of rain water and helpful to avoid flood near by temple in recent Chennai flood.

A VISIT TO MAMALLAPURAM SHORE TEMPLE IN TAMILNADU

A visit to Tikkri and Koraput to have Darshan of Lakshminarayana temple, Lord Jagannath and Maa moji gowri temple in Rayagada.

There are three ways to reach Koraput

1.From Rayagada via tikkri by train.
2.From Visakapattinam via Aruku by bus.
3.From Vizanagaram via aruku by bus.

I had choosen the first option to enjoy the nature beatuy from Rayagada to Koraput by train.From Rayagada as the train ascends through mountain the following station falls on the way

1.At o km distance Rayagada.
2.At 9th km Singapur Road
3.At 18th Km Ketuguda
4.At 33rd Km Sikarpai.
5.At 42nd Km Bhalumaska
6.At 59th Km Lellikuma
7.At 75th Km Rauli.
8.At 87th Km Tikiri
9.At 108 Km Laximipur Road
10. AT 123rd km Kakiriguma
11.At 135th Km Bariguda
12. At 149th Km Damanjodi
13.At 157th Km Dumuriput                                                                                                           14.At 167th Km Kpraput comes.

Since the tikiri is located at midway in our journey, the journey from Rayagada to tikiri through cluster of mountains a part and another part from Tikiri to korput.The distance of 167 km covered in 4 hrs on an average.Being worked in Rayagada i have been admired by the beauty of Keshipur range of mountains and its forest clad hills, the fog capped peaks during winter and gliding clouds cluster during monsoon season.

An altitude of 232 M. from Rayagada the journey starts through  hills from singapur road as the train glides through on the diesel locomotive wheels, the left side view of the hills and right side landscape with pady fields steal your heart until keutuguda station.The real hill claiming of 638 M height from here until it ends at Tikiri at an alitude of 832 M. The train ascends through many viaducts, 36 tunnels small and about 800 M stretch lengths, over the lofty bridges at the foot of the train in many places en-thrill you.

From Sikarpai to Bhalumasta the heady peaks at bothsides, entraning tunnel at many places stops your sense as your gliding through mothers harth.When the train stops at lilligumma the 10M. height located adjacent tiny railway station along the side ways of train marvelous to enjoy.From lilligumma to Rauli the deep valley and your left side some houses here and there and mountains at a height on right side  makes real wonders.

After rauli the paddy field landscape welcomes youuntil tikiri arrives.From tikiri station at right side on hill top you can see the Hanuman temple if possible visit there to get his grace.After tikiri the train almost surpasse in plain plateaus through elephant infested zones on the lap of the Laximipur pattangi mountain range through eastern ghats and reaches koraput.

At the merge of Nallamalla cumbum forest range the thirupathi temple is located in beautiful hill locks OR otherwise you can say thirpathi forest range and TADA forest range starts from this blessed land of thirupathi.

Initiaaly the temple was with Tamilnadau state but due to strong agitation by team headed by Sri Ramu karulu and request from Andrapradesh it has been attached with present Andra pradesh.

From thirupathi hill top the Swarnamugi river originates and descends at an height of 200ft straight fall on hill top and cascades down in many places as falls and reach the foot of the hill and flow towards Kalahasti.

From lower thirupathi to upper thirupathi during the course of journey you can find dense forest welcomes all the way.we have been there on hill top on 16th Nov.2015, the heavy rains in chennai in and around thirupathi made ease of visiting balaji mandi GARPAGIRAH within 30 minutes time via fress darshan.We could able to view balaji peacefully for sometime taking advantage of less devotees turnout during this period.Such sort span of time visiting balaji not at all posible in our previous visit, because everyday lacks of people visit this temple it has been filled with devotees always.We lucky enough to have darshan like this.

In hill top lot of Sudarshan (Accomodation) available for devotees to stay at very nominal rate.Starting from Rs 50, 100, 500 and 750, these sudharsan have been maitained well by Thirupathi devastanam trust.We had stayed a night peacefully at hill top than about 10. am our downward journey started from upper thirupathi.After blessed by balaji the down ward journey through many hairpin bends via dense forest and its valley intercepting falls on the way here and there and breathtaking view of lower thirupathi through valley made immense pleasure within us.

While we seen the falls at an height of nearly 200ft straight deep fall onb the mountain and cscade again as falls and descend through lofty bridge underneath of us made breathless for an instance.Just crossing falls the Rock view and the sharp U type bend and side ways mountain at an hight of 300ft above our head right side, and cropped like steep stones on hills made enchanting within us.

I can,t explain further because you should see by our own eyes and enjoy the nature and god's gift land.

In upper thirupathi Alamelu manga, Agasa ganga, etc to be visited without fail.

Upon reaching going towards nellore at 40km distance the famous Ragu  and Kethu Parigara isthalam kalahasthi located at the banks of the Swarnamuki river.Here the poojas has been carried out regularly to overcome the negative effect of Ragh and Kethu.

KALAHASTI TEMPLE GOPURAM

The universe maintained well  that our all living places maybe attain temple status. if we not maintaining that creating disturb the result will yield natural clamities. Examples the recently took place heavy rainfall at chennai is the classic example.
The poor urban planning and bringing IT corridor in asias biggest wet land leads to the rain water stagnant in many places in the south chennai during Nov and Decm 2015 monsoon period. The city experienced 3 successive floods in Nov14, 23rd and final flood which took place on 2nd dec 2015 took many hundreds people who have lived along the Adayar river banks and adjacent area people were died and thousands of people home less and lacks people were worst affected by this flood.The average rainfall of 17cm , 24Cm& 48cm on these respective  days not able to drain out through cannals .on 2nd dec the 29000 cubic ft water opening from chembarambakkam lake and rain water about 65000 cu ft were cushed through adyar river flooded the entire saidapet , mudichur,  pallavaram, west tambaram,  paallikaranai and kottur puram were worst affected.
The rain harvesting places and its drain cannals were occupied by the people leads to this great disaster happened.This would have been avoided if water management system effectively implemented by the Tamilnadu government.Atleast this is the stage the other indian cities take precautions and took corrective measures in urban development in future to avoid such a casualties.

Vana thirupathi temple.

Here the lord venkateswara in standing position.The temple priest review this temple has been visited by Sita devi during Ramanaya period and made pooja to god here, her Pearl garland fallen here when ravana abducted her, by keeping this identity Rama tracked sita when she was in Srilanga.

From Thirnelveli or Thirchendur in Tamilnadu you can reach this temple by train directly. From Tuticorin Nazreth going bus will stop at temple premise itself.

1300 years OLD SAMEDA MARKAPANTHA ISWAR TEMPLE AT VIRINCHIPURAM VIL. IN VELLORE DT.

This temple is one of the oldest temple in vellore dt. of tamilnadu in india.The temple is 1300 years old.The stone inscription in this temple reveals this truth.
