VISIT TO OMKARESHWAR JOTHIRLINGAM IN MADYAPRDESH.

Nearest airport is Indore Ahillayaboy airport. From Indore 74 Km by bus to OMKARESHWAR temple. The temple is located in Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh where River Narmada And River Kaveri Meet. The temple is located in between Indore and Khanduwa main road almost equal distance from either from Indore or Khanduwa. The nearest railway station is Omkareshwar road small railway station. For visiting this temple especially one day required start early morning from Indore the local passes takes almost 2.5 to 3 hrs to reach the temple. It is better to depart before 6 o’ clock in the evening and return to Indore after wards the vehicles facility not available much from Omkareshwar.

The Banalingam is very famous here you can collect the same and make pooja in the house using this. In Narmada River naturally formed more Banalingam available. From thadikunt especially you can find more varieties of Banalingam.

From Indore only 65KM for Ujjain here you can find Mahakal Jothirlingam and various historic event things of olden days you can find till now, this olden footprints were preserved and kept for public visit don’t miss it during your visit.
